Prayers for Lori
Could I ask you all to keep my friend Lori in your prayers?
I’ve known Lori since High School - she’s only a year older than me.
Shortly after we all graduated, Lori got married and had a few kids.
Not long after that, her husband was killed in a tragic, electrocution accident.
All these years, Lori has raised her kids as a single mom, battling all the daunting, thankless, stressful tasks that we are all too familiar with! - - Plus 1 !!!
Lori was diagnosed with brain cancer a while back and had it removed with some minor paralysis. And, over the years, she seemed to be beating it.
Recently, the cancer has returned and Lori has two tumors – one in the front of her brain and one in the back.
She’s beginning treatment this week and to put it mildly is very fearful.
I won’t claim, by far, to have any idea on the medical specifics or what she must be going through. Nor will I even begin to try to describe how hard it must be for her children!
What I can do for Lori is pray! I can pool all my faith, belief and heart and ask my Father in Heaven to comfort Lori! I can also ask that my bloggy friends join me in prayer for her and her children and most importantly, for their salvation!
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving.[Colossians 4:2]
…and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick…[James 5:15]
“And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”[Matthew 21:22]
Thanks girls! Much love to you all!

I don’t know you or your friend, but I too am a single mother and a Christian and I can’t imagine how difficult that would be. I’ll be praying for your friend.
