Deborah Schaller was kind enough to bring the Embrace Life Awards Program to my attention.

This award, created by State Farm, honors the remarkable and awe inspiring women that find the strength to go on after losing a spouse.

Over the past four years, 20 women have been honored.  This year marks the program’s 5th anniversary.  They are now offering the award to men and women having lost a parent or spouse and will be honoring 13 people – each receiving an unbelievable $10,000 grant!

Please read more about this fantastic program and be sure to nominate anyone you know that meets the criteria!  Entries are due in by May 23rd.
