His Promises are Sure & His Blessings are Great
11 You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield.
12 The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 He will bless those who fear the LORD, The small together with the great.
14 May the LORD give you increase, You and your children. Psalm 115:11-14
One thing I have come to notice while studying the Bible is that it is full of God’s promises. We can be sure that if we sincerely give Him our heart and turn our life over to Him, He will not let us down.
Many people in this life will let you down, treat you poorly, and maybe even go out of their way to do you wrong! It’s a very sad realization, but it is one with which we must deal!
A faithful man will abound with blessings, But he who makes haste to be rich will not go unpunished. Proverbs 28:20
We’ve all heard the phrase, “if you can’t beat them, join them”, in this case however, I have to adamantly disagree! I sincerely try to live my life with the “turn the other cheek” mentality. Regardless of what people do to me, I do my best to forgive them and give the situation up to God. He promises to be my vindicator and my redeemer!
“I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8
Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. II Corinthians 7:1
